How far in advance did you book your christening party?

We have a list of like 130 people... the christening will be in July... just wondering when I should get on this!

We are planning on having ours in June and I already went to speak to the church. I have also been looking around at restaurants.

ours is in april and it was booked in december- hall and church

Well, DD was christened at 5 weeks and we didn't book until after she was born, so maybe 4 weeks? We had about 100 people

DD was christened in October and that's not a typically crazy month like May/June would be...I wouldn't imagine July to be jam-packed with bookings either.

I don't think you need to rush, but if you want to get the ball rolling now...why not?

For that many people I would look/book soon.

I booked a month or so ahead, but we had a small party. For that many people, i would get on that now and at least make sure you have the date you want at the church and then find a venue.
