Registry confusion
I'm so confused.
So far I've registered for a bunch of stuff but I'm starting to feel like some of it is repetitve.
What the hell is the difference between a bouncer and a rock n' play. (Aside from the toy bar)?! lol
Also, if the baby can sleep in the rock n'play during the day, do I need a pack n' play with a sleeper thing in it? And then, if the baby can sleep in the rock n' play during the day, why can't it sleep in that at night instead of buying a bassinet or co-sleeper. (This may be a way out there question because I do know the height difference is there).

Registry confusion
I don't think you need a bouncer and a rock n' Play. They didn't have the latter when I had DS (or I don't recall them having them) but they seem pretty much the same to me. The problem is you never know what is worth it until the baby is here. For example, we got a swing and a bouncer. DS hated the swing. He slept in his bouncer for all naps and at night. Hated his crib until at least 3 months old. He hung out in the bouncer until he had the head control for the Exersaucer which is where he spent alot of his awake time.
We never used the Pack n' Play for him other than to have a place to sleep when we travelled -- not somewhere to nap, not to put in him when he was playing, etc. Took up too much room in our tiny house.

Registry confusion
Rock in play is more like a bassinet than a activity item.
My DS just slept in the RnP, nothing esle. We got a swing that the seat came off and it was a bounce. I never once used the bouncer.
Our PnP had the bassinet attachment and we only used it the first few days and then we bought the RnP and he slept in that for naps and at night.
Hoenstly you will not know if you need soem of these things until you see how your little one will sleep and play. DS hated sleeping in the bassinet so we bought the RnP later on. DS hated bouncer and barely liked his swing.

If something is purchased off my registry, and my DS doesn't like it, can it be returned? This is for BBB and BRU.

Hailey likes all of them. She sleeps in the RNP and naps in the swing. I mainly use the bouncer in the bathroom.

Honestly, you won't know they don't like something until you've tried it several times. And at that point, I don't think its right to return it.
You will get a lot of things you may or may not use, but you won't know until the baby is here.

For us dd uses the rnp to nap in. It also folds up nice and compact so if we go to friends houses that it what we take for dd to sleep in instead of a pack n play.
The bouncer is more for activity...dd sits in it while she's awake and now (at 10 weeks) she's starting to like the toys that hang from it.
Personally Im glad I have both. I would register for the, both and see what your child likes (we didn't use the rnp til she was about 4 weeks old though)

Yes!
Both DDs slept in the RNP and I liked having it since it was so portable. It was easy to bring along if we went to my mom's or a friend's house- this way she always had somewhere to nap.
The bouncer is convenient to bring into the bathroom if you need to shower while baby is awake. My younger DD (16m) still sits in her bouncer seat to watch TV and sometimes naps in it.
The swing is more for entertainment. It kept them quiet while I was making dinner or working or whatever.
I never used the PNP- but if you have a larger baby- he/she may outgrow the RNP quickly OR you may still want something portable when baby becomes a toddler. My SIL uses hers all the time still and her son is almost 2.
The only things I found were kind of a waste were the bassinet (both DDs hated it- I just used the RNP and then moved to the crib), the tummy time floor gym thing (a blanket and some toys serve the same purpose) and baby bathrobes (cute but not practical).

Just thought of another thing that was a waste- the Kickin' Coaster. I'm not sure they even make it anymore. DD used to love to kick her legs against me and bounce- so I thought this would be perfect. Both of my kids outgrew it before they were tall enough to really use the kicking feature. Waste of $75
One other word of advice- register for a swing that plugs into the wall!! So much better than constantly replacing batteries

Not usually, but you could always sell on one of those FB groups or try Once Upon a Child.
Or save it- if there's a #2 they might like it!
