My BFP...
I just wanted to share with everyone that I just received my BFP....this was my 1st time out of the 3 months of trying using the Clear Blue Smiley Face OPK. I was shocked especially since the evening I received my smiley face we only BD that night since I had a medical procedure the following day and was resting the entire week. I thought for sure I was out.
Like many I was always reseraching symptoms, what to look for in the 2WW, so I thought I would share with everyone. First, 3 DPO (4 days passed when we BD), I noticed I had a weird spotting, red and then brown. I always looked for this as I know it's a sign of implantation (had it with my son but was closer to my AF date), but always read especially on here 3 DPO is way too early. So, I thought maybe it was just ovulation related...but never have I experienced that this early.
Then, I experienced my usual AF cramping which always begins for me 10 days before my AF (25 day cycle). So, I was just expecting AF. Then, I decided to give in and test at 9DPO and purely negative...then 2 days later felt very off and tested at 11DPO and there was the light line, and tested again at 14 DPO and it was much stronger.
I wanted to share with everyone and let everyone know everyone's symtoms are different and I guess 3-4 DPO is possible to see IB (if that's what that was...so for me the OPK really worked.
In my situation, my husband works nights, so timing everything was difficult. So, the OPK was the answer and it really took the guess work out, that was the 1 thing we did different.
