BTDT moms...cloth diapering?
We didn't cloth diaper the first time, so I know very little (except from the unsolicited stuff I hear from 'friends')...I want to know how much work it is, etc from people I don't know. I'm just considering it for baby #2 at this point, not sure yet...TIA!

BTDT moms...cloth diapering?
It's hardly any work at all! I LOVE my CDs, obsessed really. Lol if you're on FB, look up cloth diaper chat. Great group. There's also a b/s/t. Go on YouTube and search cloth diapering 101. There are several tutorials.

BTDT moms...cloth diapering?
I am not btdt with cloth diapers but I work at a daycare with only one child who uses cloth. They are Bum Genius brand. From what the mom has said, they do a load of laundry for wet and a load for dirty everyday. But before washing the dirty ones they use their detachable shower head to hose off the poop into the toilet. I guess if you buy plenty this cycle isn't so bad. They way they snap on is pretty interesting too. The kid doesn't grow out of them bc there are so many ways to adjust them.

I haven't BTDT, but I plan to cloth diaper my twins. There are so many different diaper options, that I'm going to sign up for this trial once I give birth to decide which I want to invest in...

I'm not a BTDT but I am interested too. The only issue I have is that I'm never caught up on laundry, so I just know the diapers would get behind too! lol

This is the trial I am using. I didn't do cloth with DS but I want to do at least 80% cloth this time around. I find there are so many types of diapers out there it is overwhelming

BTDT moms...cloth diapering?
I tried that trial with DD and in the end, we are using disposables. The trial was nice, in that it gave lots of samples, but there were hardly any instructions. Neither DH nor I had ever even changed a regular diaper, let alone the cloth ones, with all the different buttons and snaps. We were very overwhelmed with being new parents as it was but the added work of cloth diapering (basically the amount of laundry to be done) didnt work for us. Especially now that I'm back to work, I absolutely cannot imagine having to do that much laundry. If you're able to do it, more power to you!

I only do an extra 2-3 loads of laundry/wk. Diaper laundry is just as easy as any other load. Also, most CD moms do not separate the pee vs poop diapers. I just spray all of my poop diapers (0-3) at the end of the day and wash all together.
Please don't be intimidated by the "work". FM me for any questions.
I never did a trial pack, I bought cheap new dipes off of the b/s/t and purchase in co-ops. Super cheap!

I am still up in the air about it, my two friends who do can't just give me advice/feedback and answer questions without being sanctimonious so I've stayed away from asking them more...I wish I could get more advice in person without other people shoving their opinions down my throat.
There is one girl I know in person who CDs and doesn't do that, I should ask her...
I also wonder what happens when they eventually go to daycare, if the home/center will do it...
Also how sanitary is it, especially being out
