Huge drop in estrogen and progesterone
I just had my ivf transfer on Sunday. When I went for bloodwork on Tuesday my estrogen was 900 and my progesterone was 36. Today I went for more bloodwork and my estrogen dropped to 87 and my progesterone is at 4.5! I will be goin for a beta on Tuesday but in the meantime I have to take estrace twice a day and increase my progesterone suppositories to two in the am and two in the pm. The nurse said this does not indicate it didn't work but this seems like such a drastic change to me. Has this happened to anyone else? What was the outcome, didyou get a BFP? Thanks!!!

Honestly, in my first IVF cycle I experienced this and got a BFN. I pray that is not the case for you.

Thanks so much. I have kind of set myself up for this possibility, but I know I am still going to be so disappointed. I have done 6 iui's and this is my third ivf, all bfn. I feel like it is never going to happen. It is frustrating because we are diagnosed with unexplained infertility so there is no explanation of why this might be happening. I got pregnant with my son after two months of trying and now we have been trying for well over two years with no success.

I really hope you get your BFP. It really could go either way!
I will say an extra prayer for you. I know how frustrating it is. I had unexplained IF too..... Took 6 IUI's to have my first and 3 IUI's and 2 fresh IVF's for my 2nd. It will happen for you!!

My progesterone was around 4.5 on suppositories and I got a BFP. I was switched immediately to PIO.
