Re: BF pumps

I got the Medela hands free pump based on recommendations. It's $$, but I had a lot of FSA money leftover so bought it with that. It may also be covered by insurance but didn't go that route because of FSA.

We registered for the Medela Advanced but no one has bought it for us and my shower is on Saturday. Doesn't look like it's going to get bought either.

We just went to a child care class/breastfeeding class and both the doctor and the nurse running it said that the Medela Advanced is the best on the market right now.

I got the Medela Freestyle. My OB said that she loved it (she had a baby 2 years ago).

I would absolutely choose a Medela. There are a couple on the market, but I don't think you can go wrong with any of them. I have the In-Style Advanced and love it, so I highly recommend that one!

I hope I get some kind of choice, I really want a madela.... My insurance goes through Carecentrix, so we will see, I can't call until 30 days prior to my due date!

I was told by my insurance to have my dr specify if there's one I want specifically and they will give me that one if they carry it.

BF pumps

I get one free through my insurance. I have to order 10 days before my due date and that is not until October...I think they offer the Medela.

This one. I used it with DS and now I will use it with this one. It was easy and has a cute bag.

Re: BF pumps

I wasnt able to get a pump covered by my insurance but I chose the medela freestyle. Its pricey but worth it in my opinion.
