Doctor's visit!
I had my 24 week apt today! everything looks great! I was also given the glucose drink today and I'll take my test in 4 weeks AHHH .....did any of you get the drink at their previous apt before the glucose test?

Hmmm no I wasn't given the drink before hand by my doctor. I had to go to the lab and drink it there with DS.

Doctor's visit!
With DS I got it at the previous appt.. Put it in the fridge it's better cold! It makes it easier bc you can drink it and get there in time for blood instead of sitting there for an hour.

One of my supervisees that's pregnant got the drink in advance. The doctor was trying to minimize her wait time.

Oh and glad to hear everything went well with your appointment!!
My advice -- when the time comes -- is to try and down the whole bottle as fast as you can. If it's the orange, it actually doesn't taste that horrendous but not something I'd want to drink regularly... Like very sweet Tang or orange soda.

Glad everything went well! I didn't get it early, they took blood before and after the drink.
