swings, bouncer, rocker/napper what do I need?
I was just looking at all of the choices online. for women that already have kids do you find all of these useful or some more than others?

We use all three. DS sleeps in the rock n play in our room and we use the swing and bouncer on the first floor for him to hang out in.

I was upset we didn't get a rnp for our house. My parents had one that we ended up using the first two weeks (we were staying at their house bc of Sandy) and it was perfect. My DS loves his bouncer, even now at 5 months and we got good use out of his swing in the beginning.

I would definitely recommend getting all three.
We kept the swing, bouncer and a PnP on the first floor for my DS. He slept in a bassinet in our room for the first 4 months and I had a RnP at my parents' house for him. We literally used all of these things almost daily... It's amazing how much gear these little ones need!!

Get all three. My DD slept in the rocker (rock n play) for 6 months. And she'd use the swing and bouncer to hang out in.

The unfortunate thing is that some kids love one thing and others love the other things and you don't know until the baby's here.
DS slept / hung out in his bouncer for the first 3 months of his life -- naps, bedtime, everything. Put him in the swing and he couldn't have cared less. Maybe the second one will like it so it doesn't seem a complete waste of money.

I would get all 3. Dd loves the swing and the bouncer seat too (the bouncer seat is great bc j can move it around the house when I need to shower and stuff). Dd only likes the rnp if she's tired and wants to go to sleep. I would suggest getting the rnp instead of the 3 in 1 you posted bc it is very portable

We don't have room for all of these, so at the recommendation of a friend with a newborn I registered for the Fisher Price Soothing Motions Glider at BBB.

With DS we used the swing, chair and rock and play sleeper. At the time we were living in an apartment so didn't really have a need for a pack n play but still got one. We use it when we travel.
Now that we're in a 2-story house I think I will keep the pack n play set up in our family room downstairs. Just so I have some place to put the baby while I'm down there with DS.
