Newbie w questions

I am only 3 going on 4 weeks preg and I read about getting cramps, but Omg these are worse than pms cramps.

I literally sat at work w my pants unbuttoned

Any suggestions? How long will these last?

Thanks girls

I've had them since i was about 3 weeks and still sometimes get the crampy pain here and there. When i can, i use a heating pad and put it on my stomach to relieve the pain. it helps! im 5 wks 4 days and the last time i felt the cramp was probably 3 days ago. I think it's slowly going away.

How much water are you drinking???? You may need more water or it may just be the first pregnancy symptoms.
Chat Icon its not a problem, but as long as you don't have cramping and bleeding together you should be ok.

Newbie w questions

I got lots of pms-like cramps the first few weeks. A friend of mine told me to make sure I was drinking enough water and getting enough potassium. I bought a huge jug that holds 8 cups of water that I make sure to drink each day, and I started having a banana every morning. I don't know if it's coincidence or not but my cramps have gone away.

Thank you

I have the same water jug prob - even while ttc I drink a lot of water. I guess it's common and something to deal with

Could also be from bloating. Esp in early pregnancy cramping is very common.

Feel better?

Thank you again, today I am better. Maybe the jeans I wore didn't help

Re: Newbie w questions

I think some cramping is normal. I've been getting them off and on. It usually gets better after I drink water.
