Congrats!!! As far as the haircolor thing, I am waiting it out till the end of the first trimester and then I will just get my highlights done, not my base color. A very close friend of mine bleached her hair her whole pregnancy and the baby was fine. It depends on your doctor.

My right ovary is huge due to stims. It still is and I am 9 weeks today. Unfortunately the pregnancy hormone makes it take longer to go down.

I'm not sure about the hair- I think there's an all natural dye you can use. Speak to your RE about it.

Congrats again!Chat Icon

My ovaries were huge for a while as well, due to the stims from the IVF cycle. They will go back to normal though, just takes some time. I think by the time I was released at 8w4d, they were still enlarged, but much less smaller than at 5 or 6 weeks.

As for the hair dye, check with the RE. For me, I actually haven't colored my hair since DH and I started TTC over 2 years ago. But that's just me. There may be a natural hair dye you can use.

Congratulations!!!

congratulations! wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy Chat Icon

i have a recurring ovarian cyst that likes to rupture every now and then. it was present during my first pregnancy and was pretty painful for the whole first tri and the early part of second tri. by my 20 week ultrasound the cyst and the pain were both gone.

i've stopped coloring my hair so it's not an issue now, but last time around i had it done early in the second tri. my stylist used a vegetable-based dye, but at that point i would have been fine with any kind of dye.

1st off congrats!!!

I did ivf and after I got my bfp. I was told I had ohss and my ovaries were huge. It took a few weeks to go down. I also had a ton of cysts that stayed with me till I was 10 weeks pregnant and I had one burst and it was painful. But I was told the cysts would be watched to make sure they didn't get bigger and I'm happy to say as of right now I'm 13 weeks pg and only one tiny little cyst! I think you'll be fine since your being watched so closely by the RE.

Best of luck!!!
