vent...DONE with maternity clothes
I am so DONE with these clothes. Gross. Today's styles are not the tents our mothers wore, and I feel that they are very clingy (sweathers, shirts, etc.) They show the outline of the tummy panel on my pants. It looks terrible! I have to wear scarves all the time hoping nobody notices. Now that I'm really big, its getting harder and harder....and tighter and tighter. I hate these poorly made peices of garbage and can't wait to burn them when this is over. Vent over.

AGREED! At 33 weeks I SO can NOT wait to be back in regular clothes! i feel like a blob at ALL times! So frustrating. Ihave finally given up on seeing the outline of the panel. People can deal with my stupid pants.

I was JUST telling my cousin about this!!! They should make the jeans with belt loops and let me be able to wear the belt under the belly so my pants will stay on!!!!

Re: vent...DONE with maternity clothes
I HATE every piece of clothing I own with the exception of the 2 pairs of maternity yoga pants I wear which probably look completely innappropriate with my granny panties and huge a$$ and thighs. I fight with myself every morning. I try to remember its temporary and for good cause but my self esteem is shot right now.

I actually like it. I picked up some tops from Destination Maternity yesterday and the styles are more hip compared to 5 years ago when I had DD.

I like some of the tops but hate the pants. Thankfully i only wear maternity pants to work as i actually still wear my regular pants and jeans on the weekends.

I loved my maternity clothes. I also found that things that were flowy made me look FAT not PG. The fitted things actually made me look better.
And just like anything else...the quality mattered. So I bought only a few pieces but spent the money on them rather than a bunch of stuff from old navy.
