Back to this board!
Hello ladies,
I am a regular poster in hiding. Trying for Baby #3.
I am on cycle #2 and cant tell if I o'd this month. Last month my cycle was 32 days. I o'd on day 19.
I made the mistake of buying the 'litmus tests' rather than the ones with the Smiley.
Any thoughts- I'm on day 21, could it be that I didnt O yet? I have been testing every morning since day 10.

We are going to start trying for #2 next cycle but I tried to practice with the OPKs this cycle so I know what I am doing as we have never used them before
. I bought the same ones you are using and I am also having trouble. I think you get a positive when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line, but I read that if you drink too much water it can dilute the results and might hide a positive, and its recommended not to use the first pee of the day. Also, some sites recommend testing 2x a day when you get closer to O, and the positive is usually 12-48 hours before O. I am on day 23 and still not sure if I O'd either, but I think I may have gotten a positive around day 17. It wasnt darker than the control but was close, and since then it has gotten lighter. I guess I will count back from when I get AF and try to better understand how to use these strips. At least they are cheap.

i saw that it said not to use first pee of day.. but then i ALSO saw that you should wait 4 hours in between peeing time to test. I have a VERY hard time saving pee for 4 hours!!!! What time of day do you test?

I didnt know the other rules. I have tested all different times... after dinner, late morning, etc. I dont think I waited 4 hours after a pee for any of those times. I also tested once at night after drinking a lot of liquids and it was very light but I wonder if I just skewed the test results by diluting my pee.
If I had to guess when I O'd which is like reading tea leaves at this point I would say I O'd on cd18. Today is cd24 so I will just wait it out for AF to show and I will have a better idea of whether I have a clue what I am doing. I thought this would be easier!

u will laugh but i tested this am, day 23 and got a darker line.. we bd on monday and we will tonight and maybe tomorrow for safe measure..
we shall see!!!!
Its weird, every time i use these strips i never think they are good- UNTIL the time i get the darker line>

ttc3wellc you wont believe this but I just tested for the hell of it because you did and I think I got a positive too! the two lines are equal darkness at least, and much darker than the last day I tested which was yesterday or the day before. I was assuming I O'd a week ago because the test got darker and then lighter. I will post a pic if I can figure out how

THIS IS JUST SO FUNNY! We have the same DARK line today!!
We BD last night and will do it again tonight!!!
