Missing HUD closing statement!
We sold a house and bought a house last summer. I seem to be missing the paperwork from the purchase. I've tried contacting my lawyer and she's been slow at responding. At this point I don't know if she will come up with it.
Any idea what we should do? We have looked everywhere and do not have it and our accountant needs it for our taxes.

Did you check in the envelope that your deed came in? Mine was in there with the paperwork from our attorney.

I recently received mine in the mail from my attorney. I closed back in June of last year. I had to call them for a copy in order to file my taxes. The emailed it to me no problems.
