36 week appt...question

So I had a sono and internal today. Baby measuring 6 pounds 4 ounces, which is perfect, tech said he had a lot of hair! Then I had my internal and doc said Iam 2 cm. dilated and put me on bed rest for one week so I don't go preterm. Anyone have any experience with this? Iam reading online that it could still be a long time but doctor thinks soon. I've been feeling pretty good so far, last night I was crampy and nauseous but I think it was something I ate. I also had some spotting which could have been plug or broken blood vessel. You ladies were right, that internal hurt like hell too! TIA

36 week appt...question

I'm about 10 weeks behind you so I can't speak from experience but I think Gina was at 2cm from 36 or 37 weeks and ended up going late so I think you are ok.
