Shower dress vent
My shower is April 20th and I started looking for a shower dress. I don't want to buy anything JUST yet in fear that it won't fit by the time the shower happens. I have been looking everywhere and I can't seem to find what I want. I looked on motherhood, pea in a pod, old navy, asos, pink blush, topshop, zulily, gilt, rosie pope, Macys, Nordstroms, etc. The only things I can find that I like are Rosie Pope or Isabella Oliver and I can't seem to spend that much money on a baby shower dress. I'm looking for a cute maxi dress, with a little sleeve (cap or short...to hide my fat arms), umpire waist, not fitted...it's impossible!!!! I'm starting to get really annoyed!
I did find some on etsy that I actually liked but I'm a little scared to shop on etsy for a shower dress. Would you? Do you think I need to change up what I am looking for? I DEF don't want to do pants and no leggings. Thought a maxi dress would help with the fact that I can't cross my legs anymore comfortably and I don't want to give a show while opening presents.

I just bought a cute maxi dress as target..not sure how dressy you want it to be but its a super cute dress and very comfy!

I saw really cute maxi dresses on the old navy website .. it doesnt have cap sleeve or long sleeve but you can put a nice cardigan over it:)
Jessica Simpson also had really cute one's at the destination maternity store in Garden City.. my friend bought hers there and she looooved it! she wore a cardigan and flip flops with it.. Good luck!

Thats the one I bought! I am not using the belt but can vouch for the fact that it looks way nicer than in the picture and is SO comfy!

My shower is early April....I just today ended my loooong search and found the cutest polka dot maxi dress at SEARS (black and white)..its sleeveless so I need a sweater but it def makes the bump look cute while looking correct everywhere else..and the bonus is that it is a petite length so I do not have to drag the floor!!..
I would try Sears, JCP, etc...I find that most maxi dresses have extra room and could be used for this

Thanks girls! I looked at all the places mentioned above and couldn't find anything. I actually have the green dress from Target but it doesn't work for a shower dress. I doesn't fit the way I would want it for a shower dress.
I will look at Sears and Penny's thank you! Those I haven't gone to the store to look at them.

I have a wedding to go to. I found a nice dress on the loft. Best part is it was 40% off.

I looked on the loft...they have some nice shorter dresses that I might go back to if I can't find a maxi dress.
Does anyone know if the Penny's in Roosevelt Field carries maternity dress?

JcPenny's at roosevelt doesn't carry maternity anymore...I'm in the same boat with this shower dress. I ended up settling..

i agree. target has great maxi dresses. get a longer one so you wont have to worry.
