What does the Easter bunny do in your house?
Does he do the basket AND eggs? Or does he just hide eggs and you give the basket or vice versa?

Hides the eggs and leaves the baskets filled with treats. (We supply the baskets the night before).

What does the Easter bunny do in your house?
I give my kids a basket and hide eggs. All from me not the Easter Bunny.
So basically the Easter Bunny does nothing.

This is really the first year that my DS actually "gets it". The Easter Bunny will be leaving him a basket and hiding eggs.

DS is too young now, but I grew up w the bunny doing it all so that's prob the way I would've thought to do it. But my brother's kids believe the bunny leaves the basket & that my bro & SIL hide the eggs. So I'm thinking we'll go w that story since they'll be together many holidays & don't want them questioning why things are done differently.

This is the first year that DD sorta gets it and I think we'll just tell her the bunny brings it all. That's the story I grew up with (same for Santa, my parents never differentiated who brought what, it was all just 'from Santa') so I figure we'll do the same for our kids. I never thought twice about it so I don't see the point in getting technical about what is brought/done by whom.
As a side tangent, I had a friend growing up who's parents told them Santa brought their Christmas tree. A few weeks before Christmas they'd wake up to a fully decorated tree in their living room. I'm assuming the parents were too OCD about ornament placement to let the kids help.

What does the Easter bunny do in your house?
This is DDs 2nd Easter. Last year the EB just gave a basket. This year he will also hide eggs. She still doesn't get it, but she can at least look for the eggs this year.

Bunny hides.the basket! I grew up in apt. Building, so i guess hiding the eggs was not an option. Never did that as a kid. This year, DD keeps talking about the bunny hiding eggs, so will try that along with hiding basket.

the bunny does it all - even hides the basket. BUT we leave the door unlocked for him so if a certain almost three year old isnt behaving, the door will be locked and the bunny will just have to hop right on past our house

What does the Easter bunny do in your house?
The easter bunny hides the eggs and brings the baskets. That's how I grew up with it, so I want to continue it with my kids
