wedding 7.5 weeks after due date
i have a family wedding 7.5 weeks after my due date. who the hell knows what my body is going to look like between my boobs from breastfeeding and my stomach. i've only gained about 25lbs. right now with 7 weeks to go, and its mostly in my belly.
but im not sure what kind of dress im going to want to wear come july 3.
any rec's for a dress that would be good post partum?
i like to be fashionable and not farty lol, pre-pregnancy i wore a size 6-8 and im 5'6"

I saw a pregnant wear a scarf dress at an engagement party and she looked gorgeous. I think scarf dresses can be stylish and forgiving if you have little bit of extra weight on you after the baby.

Wait. Then just go to macys and lord n Taylor. I always have last minute luck there. Even normally I do nto buy occasion dresses until a few days before.

Just wait until about a week or 2 before.
Everyone's bodys bounce back differently. It is going to be very hard to buy a dress now for the body you will have then.

I too would wait until right before..
I'm sure you are going to want to look & feel your best, especially if it's your first outting since the baby.
Something to consider if you are BFing...get something easily accessible, drop part down for pumping/feeding mid-thru the event, or you will get engorged.
Everyone is different & bounces back different. With DD1, I wouldn't have wanted anything  BUT with DD2, I would have worn about anything I bounced back pretty quick.
Since it's July, you should be able to find some thing light & flowy around the midsection.

I have the same situation. 8 weeks after we have a wedding to go to. I am going to wait until a week or 2 before the wedding and then go and buy something since I have NO idea what my body will look like as this ism y first baby. I am definitely worried about it though!
