Do I have the only kid who hates the carseat AND the swing ?
 I can't win. I thought my third would be my easiest ....I thought wrong !

I dont know this is my first and he hates getting in the car seat until it starts to move... then hes out for the count.

My DD hated the carseat and the swing too. She hated pretty much everything as a newborn. She hated life!

My DD hated thw carseat and the swing too. She gated pretty much everything as a newborn. She hated life!

aww! DS like the swing but HATED the car seat/car! He would scream the whole car ride anywhere we went when he was a newborn. He's 9 months now and in the convertable now and he doesn't mind it the majority of the time. Maybe your LO will change too!

Nope! Lol. How old?
Dd would fall asleep instantly in the car. Until she turned 3 months. Then she decided she would scream every car ride instead. Tiny love has a travel mobile that can go on the car seat. Helps A LOT.
swing same thing. Loved it until about 3 months. Then hated it. But i adjusted the seat so she's more upright & now she likes it again.

how old? DD (now 9 weeks) just recently like this weekend began to like the swing. Carseat, forget it. Its just finally getting better now.
ETA - i think she would get a bit motion sick.

6 weeks, he's only happy in someone's arms or the bouncy seat but it over stimulates him. Hopefully in a few more weeks it will get better. I pray at least for the carseat because we are driving to FL in a month

do you cover the carseat? We have a carseat canopy and it SAVES my sanity. When she is covered, she is fine. If its open and she can look around, she is miserable and even pukes which leads me to believe its a bit of motion sickness. Maybe try a lightweight blanket over the seat in the car?

Dd2 hated both. She hated everything except my arms.
Hoping dd3 likes something and also have a wide selection of baby carriers on hand in case she doesn't!
