Because I'm a clutz, should I call the doc?
I ran into a pizza place to get pizza for my mom. I came out with a medium sized box, opened the drivers side door, attempted to get in, missed the opening , and as a result, walked into the car and jammed one corner of the box into the car and the corner right into my abdomen where the baby would be.
I have no cramping, no bleeding, just a little sensitive there right now but I don't know if that's in my head.
Should I call or wait to see if I have any of the above? I'm 15w5 days

I wouldn't worry about that. I jab things into my stomach all the time, and DD kicks my stomach hard all the time. I fell down stairs directly on my stomach last week and baby was fine. They are very well protected in there. Of course if you are worried then call, but I personally wouldn't worry about it.

I personally wouldn't. My kids have kicked me, jumped on my belly, like full force!

as long as you didn't fall and land on your stomach hard I wouldn't call. I had my dog jump on my stomach all the time.. there is so much padding there:)

I wouldn't call. There is a lot of padding in there. And at 15w, your uterus is still fairly low that you probably didn't even touch it. If you are really concerned, give it a few days and if it still hurts call. You might just have an bruise under the skin and that's why it's sensitive.

I work with aggressive kids and have been hit, kicked and had objects thrown at the belly. Baby is fine

Re: Because I'm a clutz, should I call the doc?
Thanks ladies. Unless I'm feeling any of the above symptoms then ill call the doc to be safe. My dog runs across my little belly a lot too but this felt different. Maybe because it was the corner of something.
All I know is since I started to feel movement this week (like there's a fishy swimming around in there), after this happened, I layed down for awhile and the fishy was all over the place for about 20 minutes.
Guess I should try and not be so clumsy and to look where in walking lol.
