Pajamas for the hospital
Anyone buy new pj's for the hospital? I saw a set at Macy's a few weeks ago, it was perfect, but didn't buy it and now can't find it anywhere. It was comfy pants, nursing tank, and robe. Sooo soft.
What are you bringing?

Re: Pajamas for the hospital
Instead of a expensive nursing PJ set I bought a really pretty powder blue floral cotton nightgown where the top half buttons down so basicly gives full excess to the chest for nursing . I got it at Walmart for $11. I got a couple of really cute nursing bras there too for $12 each .

Pajamas for the hospital
I wouldn't spend a lot on whatever you buy. It can be messy after delivery. I bought a pair of black pj pants from target and wore a pj nursing tank from motherhood.

Pajamas for the hospital
I ended up having a csection and basically spent the entire time in maternity yoga pants and maternity tanks and a hooded robe. I wasn't bleeding a ton so it didn't matter as I never leaked but I was comfortable.

Just checked old navy and got 2 pairs of maternity yoga pants, and terry fIip flop slippers for $44 with free shipping. Score! They're having 25% off rich now.

I wore yoga pants and nursing tanks. It was comfy, practical and I looked good for visitors and in pics. I wouldn't bother with PJ's.

Pajamas for the hospital
I plan on bringing pj pants and nursing tanks from Old Navy. They are cheap and if they get soiled I can just toss them...no worries.

Re: Pajamas for the hospital
I'm not anywhere near that time yet, but I won't rule it out. I know most people say not to get anything new since it gets gross after labor, but who knows. Maybe I'd get a nice loungey outfit from Target.

Re: Pajamas for the hospital
I didn't buy anything new, but my mom bought me a robe. I had a c-section though and I could not wear pants for like 2 weeks. So I ended up having to send DH out to get me some nightgowns. I mostly wore the hospital gown and my robe in the hospital which was not that much fun. I'll be better prepared this time.

Re: Pajamas for the hospital
I changed into my own clothes during the day, but then wore the hospital gown at night. So if I had any messes, my clothes wouldn't be gross.

Re: Pajamas for the hospital
I am going to get really loose pjs from Jc penny. I am having a cesction so I want them as big as possible so they will not be tight on my belly. I also will have my robe. I plan on being as comfortable as possible.

Re: Pajamas for the hospital
As the other posters mentioned you may get blood on the pjs so I wouldn't go getting anything new. I wore large sweat pants and a nursing top after birth. You are bleeding so much you have chux, a pad and sometimes an ice pack down there I wasn't comfortable I tight yoga pants (plus I'm sure it bulged out a bit if I had visitors I'd prob be too self conscious to get out of bed)

Re: Pajamas for the hospital
I have black maternity yoga/pajama pants that I plan on bringing and nursing tanks. I also got something similar to the below but in black. They are maternity pajamas, so I wear them now. The top is for nursing, and it has a robe, which is perfect for covering up in the hospital.
I know people say it gets messy, but I had no problems when I had DD. Yes, you are bleeding, but you are wearing a pad and disposable underwear. Nothing I brought got stained.
I cared about what I looked like because I had tons of visitors, so I wanted decent looking pajamas.

This is the one I was going to get, but they dont have it in a medium anywhere for some reason.
I just got some nice maternity yoga pants and nursing tanks. It'll do. Maybe i'll just pick up a robe that I can use afterwards too.

I got this exactly. It seems perfect for hospital and home and it wasn't badly priced.
