Immune system boosters
Since having DS, I feel like I am always sick. I went back to work in August and since then I've been sick 5 times! I even had the flu for the first time in my life in January.
Any suggestions on immune boosters? I work in a hospital so hard to really avoid germs, but I am constantly washing my hands and using sanitizers but it doesnt seem to be working.

I remember watching an episode of Dr .Oz. and he recommended a specific kind of honey..maybe you can check out his website..i'm sure he has other suggestions as well.
I love that man!

Probiotics, elderberry, vitamin c, vitamin d, raw unprocessed honey, and apple cider vinegar. I also drink astragalus tea with the onset of anything. A good delicious drink you can make....warm water with one teaspoon raw honey, one tablespoon apple cider vinegar, and cinnamon ....its delicious and a great booster!

Organic wheat grass juice daily. Start w one oz and build up to two. If you can't get fresh every day then you can buy frozen. It's amazing.

All of this! Also, how is your diet? Avoid processed foods, refined sugars and gluten if possible.

My diets ok, I eat decently healthy. And it hasnt changed much since having DS, so its strange that ive been getting sick so much. Thank you so much for the suggestions though!

My one suggestion. Take a shower at night. I'm a teacher and its the one big must for me and i swear it helps. Even just a quick soapy rinse. I feel like without it, I'm festering in germs while I'm sleeping.

Great thanks! Wasn't sure since the bottle says 4 times a day and that seemed like a lot for just preventative care

That's funny, I was just thinking about that this morning! I'll start doing this starting today. Hoping for a better summer :)
