Those of you who have had IUIs
For how many people did it work on the first try???
I have one more week and it is driving me CRAZY!!! my normal 2WW is NEVER this bad but I am going insane!!

My first IUI I got a BFP but unfortunately it ended in a chemical. I know someone who was successful first time out so you never know! Good luck! The 2ww stinks no matter how you slice it!

When I conceived my DD I had one egg and one IUI and we got pregnant. I couldn't believe it, I never thought it would happen that way.
Now conceiving #2..........that was a whole other story.

I have my son as a result of my first iui! Very lucky! I just reached the year mark trying to conceive my second and am moving into IVF

For me it didn't work, but I personally know of 2 women who got pregnant on their 1st try.

Look into the statistics and ask your RE of his opinion and ideas on how the IUI chances are for you. Remember that since everyone's situation is different, it may change for you as an individual. It also may change your course of action. Good Luck!

Those of you who have had IUIs
I am right there with you, Just had my first IUI on Tuesday. I was thinking the same thing. Can this really happen the first time doing an IUI? While I know its possible I'm not getting my hopes up. Hang in there. After my RE did my IUI I asked- so how are my chances? He said based on your Dhs sample and your follicles- GOOD. I think that gave me too much hope...I don't wanna be let down. Thanks for posting this- its great to hear some people got a BFP with IUI number one. Fingers crossed for you!

I did injectables and an IUI and had one mature follicle and possibly a 2nd mature one on the date of release and my DS is a product of my first IUI.

My first IUI didn't work (I believe i did get pregnant and had a chemical), next cycle I asked to be put on progesterone and that did the trick.

Those of you who have had IUIs
I got pregnant on my first IUI. I'm now 19 weeks!
I was on clomid, ovulated late in the cycle (i think it was CD24), only had 2 follies, did the triger shot, then b2b IUIs (Sat and sun). Positive beta 2 weeks later! It can happen.
