Yesterday I was eating my lunch at work and felt afterwards like I had a piece of food lodged in the back of my throat. It went away for a little while but came back again after I ate dinner.

Today I've had this feeling all day and I was drinking water like crazy to "wash down" whatever this was. I came today from work and looked in the back of my throat and much to my surprise the back fo my tongue is covered in these large bumps. WTH is this?? My throat is slightly sore but I have allergies so this is usually the case this time of year. I have had strep before and it's always the back of my throat not my tongue that is affected. Anyone have any idea what this is?

BTW I have not eaten anything out of the norm or too hot or cold either.

So I went to the Dr. this a.m. and it turns out the acid reflux I've been having this pregnancy has caused the blister like bumps and the sore throat. I have to start taking pepcid daily and wait for it to heal on its own. Just glad it's nothing that would harm my little guy.
