Re: LIIVF
I am sure Dr. Brenner has been the reason for many success stories, that said my experiences with him were not all positive. I found that he doesn't listen well, doesn't dig much, doesn't change protocol when something doesn't work. In addition he made a few errors that could have cost me two embryos had I not picked up on it (he was putting me on meds on the wrong day for an FET) and he mixed things up when I was going for a fresh cycle he thought it was a frozen one until I corrected him. I've just recently switched practices as a result. I don't say all of this to scare you or make you change your mind, just as a warning to speak up if you don't think something is right and be your own advocate.

Re: LIIVF
I see Dr Brenner. DH and I really like him...and DH is very critical! LOL ;)
Its true, you see the nurses mostly and while i was doing IUIs i never even spoke to him unless I had a question...but he was always responsive when i felt i needed to speak to him. Now that we're on to IVF, I have dealt with him a lot more and was very good about explaining options, answering questions, etc. I have no complaints.
I do agree with another post - if you feel like your not getting the right treatment or you have questions, you MUST ask. You have to be your own advocate....but i think that's true of working with any doctor about anything! Go with your gut. This is a very intense process and you need to have trust and faith in your doctor and the staff.
Best of luck!
