cost of cutting grass weekly?
Hi all, if someone currently cuts your grass, how much do you pay weekly and what is your lawn size? Also is there anyone that just cuts and edges vs. doing all the other services like spring clean up? I can't seem to find a lawn company that will do just cutting the grass and edging.

cost of cutting grass weekly?
We pay $30/week for our lawn - just over 1/3 of an acre. We're in Commack. They just do the cutting and edging. If we want Spring/Fall clean-up, that's extra and we have ato contact them to do it.

I think we pay in the range of $30 (maybe $35... DH just renewed our contract and I think it was $35 for the upcoming year) a week just for cutting/edging. We are in N. Bellmore, property size is 75 by 100.
We do use our landscaper for full service, though - spring and fall cleanups, fertilizer, etc. So I am not sure if the lawn cutting service would be more if we didn't opt for the full-service package.

We pay about 30$ a week to for our 5000sq ft lawn area for cutting and edging. We have over the years added other items like spring clean up, fall clean up to the list. We are in Bethpage but I know he has clients as far as Manhasset and Dix Hills.

We pay $25/week for about 80 x80. And no spring or fall clean up. We do that ourselves.

We used to pay $25 a week... we decided to save some $ and bought a lawnmower. My DH actually enjoys cutting the grass.

Yeah, I know its an extra expense, DH always cut the grass too, but it takes him 2 hours to mow and weed whack (we have a corner property with a full backyard, not just a side lawn, so there is a lot) so now with DS here, I am not sure if he is going to find the time. I guess I will see what happens.

$20 plus tax per week -- but they always charge more for spring clean up, throwing down pesticides, fertilizers, etc... and then the fall clean up. So it averages out to more if you do balanced billing
