Little guy is almost 2 weeks! Our story!
Hello!
Our little guys will be 2 weeks old tomorrow... still can't believe he is here. I never got around to starting a "We're home post"!
I went to Dr on wed 2/27 at 40w 4days and I was 1-2cm, he gave me a thorough internal (OUCH) and told me to go home, get my stuff and go to hospital for induction. By the time I got home, I was bleeding so I would have been going to the hospital anyway.
I got hooked up, and was dilating on my own at 4pm, got to 3cm then stalled. they started pitocin at 7pm, epi at 730. They broke my water at like 11pm (I think). They kept increasing pitocin and my contractions were not getting consistent enough. I was stuck at almost 5 cm for about 6 hours and his heartrate was dropping when they would increase. At 530am on 2/28 dr said we had not choice but got for c-section, we had to get him out.
Carter Jameson was born Thurs 2/28 at 6:12am (6/12 is our anniversary! ) We are so in love with our little dude!!!!!
ETA: It was awesome that LolaBlue and I were in the L&D at the same time! She came to visit me while I was being induced, we have the same dr too! Then we got to chat one night after all the guests and hubbies had to leave when we were in our rooms! We chatted so much during out pregnancies since our due dates were close and we had the same dr. It was great finally meeting her and we will definitely get together with out little ones!
