I've sipped a glass of wine a few times this pregnancy- never finishing the glass.
I don't make a habit of it- it was only when I wasn't "out" yet and would've been obvious if I didn't have a glass of wine in my hand

Alcohol during Pregnancy
I have wine, did with both pregnancies. Totally fine! And I finish my glass! I do use the nips (they come in a 4 pack and are 4 oz) so I dont waste a whole bottle and built in portion control! Everyone can make their own choices when it comes to that. Also love the Ariel alcohol free wine, I order online. The Fre isn't bad either.

I'm not a huge fan of wine, and can't have beer due to Celiac...so I just stear clear of alcohol all together....The only thing I drink outside of pregnancy is vodka, and I doubt that is acceptable right now!! haha!!!

I attempted 3 half glasses when I was preggo with DS. Each one gave me horrendous heartburn. I had a few sips of wine a few weeks ago and again horrible heartburn. Not worth it for me. Wish it had been a more pleasant experience lol
Same for me...wine was worse than beer, but I wasn't feeling it. But in small amounts I'm sure it's fine. My DS came out perfect.

Alcohol during Pregnancy
I had the occasional glass at the holidays or at bonfires. I see nothing wrong with having a glass of wine or a beer in moderation when you want it. It's a very American line of thinking to not have alcohol, sushi, or lunch meats.

ITA with this. I've had the occasional glass of wine, a bite of tuna tartar once or twice and a few cold cut sandwiches.

It's funny that people are admitting to drinking wine, yet most people on the board say that they would never drink diet coke or eat a turkey sandwich. Go figure!

My doctor went out of his way to very passionately discourage me from this. I wasn't planning on it, he says he tells this to everyone, but he was like NOTHING, NO, NONE, under NO circumstance, NOT even a sip... I mean, he acted like I had said to him "heyyyy I'm gonna go ahead and get loaded!"  it was crazy! I looked at Vinny like, I barely drink without being PG! LOL! I mean, some wine here and there, I have NEVER had even a sip of beer, I don't drink liquor at all, etc. So it was funny because the docs reaction was so strong.
But whatever anyone else does is their choice - and different docs may have different opinions. Regardless of how my doc feels, I have not had a sip of alcohol and will not while PG, that's just my personal choice (and DH agrees).

Nope not a drop. My doc was strict about food, I wouldn't dare think of asking about wine or beer I didn't miss it during either pregnancy
