Forest Hills Peds or other Queens doctors
I currently see Dr. Haskoor but we arent seeing eye to eye on feeding, so I am considering a change.
I called FH Peds based on some friends recommendations but I couldnt get a weekend appointment for a month away, nor could I get a Thursday appt for the doctor my friend suggested. If you go to FH Peds, do you have a problem getting a weekend appt?
Can you recommend a ped in western Queens?

I use Forest Hills Pediatrics. I love them. All the doctors are great and I've never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes.
You can get appts on the weekends, but they book them a month in advance, so try to call as soon as possible to get a weekend appt since they fill up fast.
I've never had an issue getting a sick visit/walk in appt if it happened on the weekend either.

Are you willing to go to Astoria?
I go to Astoria Pediatrics on 23 ave and 37 st.
I see either Dr. Mike or Chris Iordanou. Love them both.

I love my Ped it Dr. Yu in Middle Village. It's him & his sister & they do have Saturday appts. until 1pm. I am actually surprised everyone keeps raving about Dr. Haskoor

I go to FHs Pediatrics and really like them. We've met 3 of the drs so far and like them all...meeting a 4th at our next visit in 2 weeks.
So far we've only gone on weekends since I like DH to be there, too, but I've never had a problem getting a weekend appt - even a week before! I think it's tricky right now b/c of the upcoming holidays and fewer drs working those weekends.
Out of curiosity, which dr did your friend recommend you use?

So many people I know that have gone to Haskoor have left the practice.
DS goes to Dr. Paul - Glendale Pediatrics - he has an office in Glendale on Myrtle Ave and in Astoria. He is great

We've seen Dr Kim twice and liked him. We met with Dr Nieves before DS was born and liked him, too.
Also, I like the practice b/c when I've called with questions they always call back quickly - usually within 30 or 60 minutes. After hours it's even faster. Usually they put you through to a dr right away.

Don't be nervous if you have no problem with him! My prob is he is that he is better with ff babies than bf ones.

No I have never been to him but my friend literaly won't feed or do anything without calling him to confirm. It's so annoying when I hear this & I assume he asks her too.
