have to wait another cycle to do my next IUI
went for my day 3 sono & bloodwork today but I still have a few mature follies in there so they want me to wait until my next cycle...
So I wait.......

The waiting is the worst part of this whole thing..I would do any procedure any day over just 'waiting'. So..I completely understand and send you

No, I'm prety sure that I did ovulate, but I had about 6 follies prior to doing the IUI. When I went for my sono today they said all of the follies didn't release and about 2 or 3 of them were still in there and were mature. So they didn't want me to stim these mature follies that are empty.

I feel like this last cycle took longer than the months that we were just trying on our own. I guess I was looking at it as from the time I started the injections, then for the IUIs, then waiting 2 weeks...its a whole lot of waiting.
Plus the amount of time spent going to the dr for sonos & bloodwork and the waiting that you have to do at the office!!
my goodness this is a whole lot of waiting

I'm sorry  The waiting is the worst!! I know how you feel, I had to skip a cycle because of cysts too. I'm going to have to skip next month also if no bfp next week. So annoying!!! I think our insurance companies should cover a little bit of pampering too bc of all we have to go through! I don't know...a massage here or there, a mani/pedi once in a while, a day at the spa, a weekend getaway perhaps. Who do we write to to make that happen

I agree - waiting sucks!! But going through a cycle and speding all the money, time, emotions and effort if you don't have a good chance of it working would suck more.
Hopefully after the month off, the next cycle will be your BFP month.

no - the point is there are too many follies with altered hormones. if she could do TI she could do an IUI, theres really no difference other than a slightly higher preg rate with IUI.
