Ladies on Lovenox..
If you activate the safety feature by pressing the syringe afterward and waiting for the piece to pop down, do you notice medication comes out?
I noticed this happening and nervous I'm not getting the full dose.  Sometimes none comes out, but sometimes it's a decent amount.
I inject with the air bubble on top like you're supposed to, so not sure what I could be doing wrong here. I'm guessing it's a manufacturing issue and there's just extra meds left in some of the syringes, but not sure if that makes sense.

I tap mine to get the air bubble to the top then pull back slightly to let air in- then press the plunger and get rid of the air bubble before injecting it into me... That seems to make all of the medication come out (every once in a while I see a little bubble bead on the top once I put the protective shield up).

I'm confused, the location of the air bubble with what I'm referring to as the 'top' is the part closest to the plunger where you press down. You can't press the air out because the air goes in last.

I don't do it that way- I turn the syringe needle side up and tap to get the air bubble until it is closest to the needle, pull the plunger back slightly and inject the air out before I insert the needle into my stomach. I found in the beginning by leaving the air bubble in I used to get air pocket looking bruises and all the medication didn't always come out...

I didn't do anything just opened package cleared me with alcohol pad injected I did notice sometimes a bit of meds came out when activated syringe

Ladies on Lovenox..
j: i inject like you do with the air bubble on the top. christine at dr kofinas' office told me to do it that way. sometimes i notice medication come out when i activate the safety feature and sometimes i do not. i think it's just built that way. they are testing our blood levels every month or so anyway so i'm guessing if something was wrong it would show up in that blood test.

Ladies on Lovenox..
You are getting the entire dose. The tiny bit that comes out is nto enough to mess with the dosage.

Yeah that's what I figured, blood work always comes out fine, it just was brought to my attention this morning because more came out than usual. I'm glad it's not just me who gets the little splatter sometimes after.

I usually made sure the bubble was at the top. I never noticed a safety feature.
ETA- sometimes the bubble wasnt on top but i injected and it was fine.
