Spring 2013 fashion - Your thoughts?
Maybe it is me. If it is, I can suck it up to the fact that I'm getting old and my sense of style has gone down the tubes after having babies. Maybe. Or maybe its not. 
I dont know what it is, but for some reason, I just dont "get" the whole spiked shoulder, bedazzled rhinestones, button down, boxy shaped clothes they have out right now for Spring. Am I the only one that feels this way? I mean seriously- If I see another pair of acid washed jeans or cutoff denim vests, I am going to lose it!

I don't get the ugly florals and the overuse of pastels (though I actually plan on getting a pair of mint colored jeans and sort of hate myself for it  ). I refuse to wear pastel color cutoffs.
The boxiness with tops and dresses bothers me, too.
I like the studs. I don't wear a lot of that, but I do like them.
And the peplum is cute, but how many people can actually pull that off?
I have found things to love and wear but it's like they're trying to make it difficult for us.

I have always been eh with "current" trends. Usually I think a lot of them look stupid IMO there are always modified versions so you dont look like a poser trying to fit in by wearing the hottest (but stupidest looking ) trend but also dont look dated in your style choices.

shirts with metal studs and stuff all over ( not ed hardy sequined, dont worry) we have it pretty good..

Agreed. Find what works for your body and personality. Screw what's "in style" Especially if it looks like this season

I actually really like the peplum trend. It is a complete opposite of the boxy look which is why that is probably one of the only things I like thats "in".

Seeing a lot of coral and turquoise/mint colors...I wish those chiffon button down shirts with the color collar will just go away!!
