Re: House to rent

What is your budget if all is included? But keep in mind, if you are looking for a whole house rental --not an apartment in a house -- it's pretty much always going to be a rent + utilities situation. Most landlords expect tenants who are renting a whole house to set up their own LIPA account, be responsible for oil deliveries (if it's oil heat), etc.

Do you have a preference for area of Nassau (north shore or south? eastern or western?)

How many beds and baths needed? Does it have to be pet-friendly (and if so, what type of pet?)

When do you need to be in the house? Preferred occupancy date?

Are you looking to avoid a broker's fee by renting directly through a landlord? Most house rentals, in my experience, go through real estate agencies.

Also, fyi - Many whole house rentals in Nassau require 2 months security.

If you want to FM me this info, I will see if I can help.

Re: House to rent

Thanks, DH and i are TTC and looking for a bigger apt.
We already have our LIPA, National Grid etc set up with our names

We are just trying to go bigger, and not living on oly the 2nd floor
Prob about a 3 bedroom and atlest 1bathroom- no pets needed

We are tying to stay away from Brokers due to the extra wasted fees.

Our Budget would be about $2500 all included, or $2,100 or so if we pay utilities.

We really would like to stay in Oceanside, East Rockaway, Lynbrook, close areas to that

thanks
