I am going to the gyno today for my annual but I wanted to tell her that I started to ttc We have been trying since November and even tho i know it isnt a long time I am going so I figure I ask her some questions. What kind of questions should I be asking?

I went to my gyno for annual and told her that I was going to start TTC she said not to worry if i didnt get pregnant right away and not until we have been trying for 8 months. Im sure its nothing to worry about since you have only been trying 3 months but never hurts to ask!

Re: Need Advice
I think it's important to share you cycle info with her - for example my cycle was 34 days (sometimes as long as 40 days) which is 6-12 days longer than usual - because of his, I only ovulate 9 times A YEAR vs girls who ovulate 12 times a year (pretty much once a month)... my doctor mentioned that they could put me on something to make me ovulate on a more regular cycle. I would also start taking a prenatal vitamin so if you have any questions on that you could ask him or her!

It's so unsettling when they say that. A year seems so far away. Hang in there. Have you been temping or using opk?

Re: Need Advice
I wouldn't worry about asking anything unless there's something specific that's worrying you. When I went to my annual years ago when we started trying, I mentioned to my gyn that I had pcos and asked what that would mean for me.
While trying since November feel like a long time, in the grand scheme of things it's just a few cycles and too soon to draw any conclusions from it not working yet. Good luck!

Re: Need Advice
Maybe instead of asking questions, (if you dont have anything specific you would like to ask her) you can ask her if she has any advice for you. She might offer something up you haven't thought of. My OB asked me all of the medications I was taking and asked what I used to wash my face and hair. Turned out my face cleanser wasn't pregnancy safe and I had no idea!!! She said that it could cause major birth defects.
Just realized this is obsolete... You went to the OB a few days ago!
