Rechargeable batteries
Pricey? Worth it? Do they really hold a charge?
These Thomas trains are sucking the life out of the batteries. We change them each once a week!

Rechargeable batteries
We use eneloop batteries for everything. They hold their charge well, just get spares so you always have charged ones to rotate in. We buy them on amazon.

We have the regular duracel ones. For toys they work. for swings, they need charging every day and a half. But they nap in their swings so thats why.
