Living room ideas...green/red?

I'm trying to buy living room furniture (somewhat formal as we have a separate family room) and accessories that match with my current wall color (a light sage green) and window treatments (same green with red and beige accents). I'm thinking a white/off-white/ivory color couch with red and green pillows or accents in the room - NOT christmas colors - something like these colors in the pic below (obviously these are in accents and not in the decor) - but I can't find any inspriation pics I like! Anyone that looks at websites for inspiration see any good pics like this. OR, feel free to tell me that this look does not work at all! I'm basically trying to find a pic that looks like what I have in my had to see if the color combo works or scrap it and start from scratch with a new color combo.

I am no decorating expert, but I like the idea.

Our dining room sounds like it is painted a similar color, a light sage. We have red and gold accents. I love our room!

Do you mind if I ask where you found your curtains? They sound nice! And we are still looking for curtains.

My formal living room is painted BM Par Four, which is a pale green.

My furniture is from Bassett. We have a very pale gold -- like a straw color -- couch. Our accent chairs are striped - - deep red with stripes of deep gold and dark sage green. Two of the accent pillows on the couch are the same striped fabric (we also have some neutral pillows). The area rug is pale green ivory, gold... we have medium oak hardwood floors and dark wood furniture.

It sounds a little weird, and I too feared it would look "Christmas-y" when I was choosing fabrics, but I LOVE how it came out. I get a lot of compliments on the living room. I am headed out soon, but will try to post a photo of the room.
