PCOS
I was diagnosed in August with PCOS. Probably have had it all my life and didn't know. I was able to conceive my first child with no assitance fairly easily. My DH and I are starting to think about #2. I have been seeing an RE and will be obviously having help this time around....I was curious if anyone here was TTC with PCOS or had TTC. What was your experience???

Re: PCOS
I have PCOS among other things but my road is not typical so I won't even bother sharing my personal experience What I will say is that it's SO common and fairly easy to treat. Good luck!

What was your experience with Clomid? That is what they want to try with me. I'm afraid it won't work either.

PCOS
I got pregnant the second month on 50 mg with twins. The pregnancy was not healthy. I have been on 150 mg for four months and nothing. However, I have many issues beside PCOS. And I have friends w PCOS and no other issues, and they got pregnant very easily with no drugs. If you got pregnant with no problems the first time, I would try again with no drugs for a few cycles before involving clomid or other hormones.

Re: PCOS
I have PCOS and I am TTC my first DC. I have been on metformin since December to try and regulate my cycles. I started OPKs this month to see if I am ovulating. If not then I will be getting testing and probably going on clomid.
Good Luck!

Your situation sounds just like mine. I've been on metformin as well and just came off of BC last month. No AF yet. They told me to wait another week and if nothing then I need to come in for bloodwork and soon. I'm staying on top of it this time since we want to start TTC. I don't want this delaying us significantly!

Yes it does. I haven't got AF on my own since coming off BCP I've had to take provera to get my period for 2 cycles so far. Still holding hope that I will ovulate on my own since my OB-GYN seems to think that my PCOS is very mild. I'm going to give it a few more weeks to see if I am ovulating, if not i'm moving on to the next thing... testing to see if I can take clomid.
