Deep Conditioner RAVE - John Frieda hydrate + rescue
Another great find.
John Frieda: hydrate + rescue deep conditioner
I suffer from "scared to cut my hair-itis" and have long hair that becomes uruly in winter. Static, knots, split ends. Winter is rough for me. I could use a good cut and get rid of about 3 inches, but I never do.
I picked this up for $8.99 at Walgreens.
It's a deep conditioner treatment you use after shampooing. You can probably skip using your regular conditioner, but I decided to do it anyway.
You leave it on for 2-5 minutes and voila! As you rinse it out, your hair already feels different.
For a very deep treatment, you can use it for 20 minutes and wrap your hair in a hot towel. I have yet to do that...but I wll.
My hair feels very soft and not weighed down at all - which is good, because usually these kind of things make my hair heavy.
Just wanted to share my good find with you all!

Is this for all hair types? I have fine, frizzy hair and could benefit from some new products.

Interesting! Do you color your hair (wondering if it'll pull the color).

All the time!
It's safe for it. Says it on the box and I found it to be true, too.

Re: Deep Conditioner RAVE - John Frieda hydrate + rescue
Just wanted to come back and say I tried it this morning and I really do like it!
I am VERY leery about using any kind of deep conditioner because my hair is super super fine and although it does get damaged and fried at the ends, most deep conditioners are just too much for it and I end up with hair that is too soft and flat and won't hold a curl or a style at all. (everyone seems to want soft hair, but for me, when my hair is too soft, it is disastrious and just lays limp and fuzzy)
But this seems to have conditioned and repaired it without weighing it down at all- in fact, I have a lot of body today.
Thanks for the recommendation!

I have same issue - most deep conditioners weight my hair down and won't hold any curl.
Glad you liked it!
