71 all the time because I am SAHM with 3 under 3. Sometimes I set it to 69 at night.

Re: Those who have their thermostat on a schedule

Whether we are home or not, sleeping or awake, it's always on 65.

These low numbers are impressive!!

We have ours at 69 during the day and 66 at night.

Whenever we lower it, our DCs start coughing. Pre-kids we were 60 while DH and I were at work, 66 during the evenings and 64 while we slept.

My kids too! Bad coughs and running noses. We hiked up the heat 3 weeks ago and they are fine now.

68 when home.

62 overnight.

Manually go down to 55 when we are gone for a couple days or more.

Re: Those who have their thermostat on a schedule

Not home - 62
Home - 67
Night - 62

No one in my house can sleep if it's too warm - the heat is always on low.

Those who have their thermostat on a schedule

BEFORE baby -- 58 when I wasn't home (DH was), 62 when I got home (OCCASIONALLY 64), back to 58 to sleep.

Since he's been here -- 67-70 when we're in the zone (we have a zone upstairs and a zone downstairs), 62 when we're not (because it would take too long to heat back up)

I'm sweating most days -- especially at night! I loved having the temperature at 58 at night and it's killing me to have it higher, but I don't want DS to freeze!

during the day 67 at night 64.

We are going to get this:

http://store.apple.com/us/product/HA895LL/A/nest-learning-thermostat-2nd-generation

you can control from your phone/computer. Dh's cousin has it and it has saved him money. it also learns your patterns and will then adjust automatically.

We just got this for our first floor. If we notice a difference we're going to get two more for the upstairs zones as well!! It learned our schedule pretty quickly and I love that I can change it from my phone if it's colder/warmer out during the day. Plus it looks cool Chat Icon
