Clothing Transition...
When did you feel the need to transition to either a belly band or maternity clothes?

Re: Clothing Transition...
My pants were already on the tight side when I got my BFP....so I went into maternity pants quick, I only had one pair of work pants I could continue to wear. Wore those all the way to 20 weeks!

Clothing Transition...
I started wearing maternity pants first, probably in the very early teens. I didn't start wearing maternity tops until later on.

Clothing Transition...
I went to maternity pants at about 8 weeks. I was so sick that my pants touching my stomach so I couldn't even wear leggings. I was also noticing at about 3/4pm I had to unbutton my pants every day because I would just get too bloated.

Re: Clothing Transition...
I've been wearing JUST leggings for weeks but just today I wore my maternity jeans for the first time in a few years and it felt pretty awesome.
I was never really a fan of the belly band... For me personally, I'd rather just go straight into the maternity jeans.

Re: Clothing Transition...
When I got my BFP! Realistically I was able to stretch it until about 10 weeks and then I made the switch.

Re: Clothing Transition...
I would just go for it once you feel uncomfortable. Once you do it you will be happy!

Re: Clothing Transition...
Thanks. I am 8 weeks. Yesterday was the first time I had to leave the button unclasped on my dress pants. It's a weird flap on these pants but my stomach felt sore if I clasped it..so kept they undone Thankfully I was in layers. I saw a belly belt that looked interesting...it looks like it allows you to wear your regular pants with extending the length to the button while you are in the in between. Think I am going to check it out. Anyone ever try the belly belt?

Clothing Transition...
I've been wearing leggings and yoga pants everyday and getting larger tops and sweaters. But I wanted to check out a pair of maternity jeans so I finally got them at around 26 weeks. The band I never got

Re: Clothing Transition...
I wore a belly band for maybe 2 weeks... 11-12. Then I just wore maternity pants, they were just so much more comfortable. I wore my own tops for a little while.

I am 27 weeks on Friday and still wearing all regular clothes. But some trousers are starting to get tight. But last pregnancy i was still in regular jeans the day before i had DS. I am hoping it is the same this time.

Re: Clothing Transition...
I started wearing a belly band last week and, at least for me, it's pretty comfortable folded in half. I'm 10 wks but I think i'm starting to show already because I have a small frame to begin with.

Clothing Transition...
I'm 14 wks and still comfortable in low rise pants, but anything above that is starting to bother me. I just bought a pair of maternity jeans and a pair of dress pants. Unfortunately, both are long on me so I have to take them to be hemmed. As far as tops, I'm still in regular tops, but I wear alot of cardigans. I bought a couple of maternity tops b/c Old Navy was having a sale, but they're still a little too big on me at the moment.
