Transition Clothing
I only work three days a week, but at almost 9 weeks, i only have about 4 pants that fit. Two of which are courdery so as soon as it gets a little warmer, i won't be wearing those. Do you think it makes sense to buy some regular pants in a bigger size, or just get smaller maternity pants? Most of my pants were a size 2, but now i'm more like a 4. What do you think?

Re: Transition Clothing
i personally would get smaller maternity pants bc at least your belly can grow into them. if you get bigger sized regular pants u may only get another couple weeks out of them and it would be a waste of $$.

i agree. and maternity pants are so comfy! i wore a size 2/4 pre-pregnancy too and i get a x-small or small in maternity pants. but im also planning on wearing a lot of dresses/skirts now that it's gonna be warmer out.

Re: Transition Clothing
You can also get a belly band to wear temporarily until you're ready to start buying maternity clothes. I bought on the other day, although only in my dreams am I a size 2, and what a difference! You can at least wear your regular work clothes for a while, maybe even your entire pregnancy, and just buy casual maternity stuff.

Re: Transition Clothing
I'm the same - 9 weeks and I was a 2 but fitting a 4 now. I borrowed some 4 pants from my sister that I will stick with for a few weeks and I plan to get some stretchy skirts and dresses for spring that I can wear until I really need to buy maternity, but, this is probably my only pregnancy so I don't plan on buying much at all.
