**Crashing**
Hi ladies!!
Sorry to crash your board and wishing you lots of .
Need help with a question.. tried to google but I keep getting mixed answers. I went off of BC pill in November. (Last pill taken on 12/01). Got a period from 11/30-12/9 and then again from 1/01-01/05. Nothing since. I am now officialy 12 days late. Have taken 2 tests and are both coming up negative.. (I'm not TTC'ing).
#1.. Did any of you ladies experience this crazy missing period after coming off bc?
#2..If I was pregnant, I would be showing positive tests by now, right?
Any help is appreciated!!!! Lots of luck to you ladies!

My cycles were all screwed up when I went off the pill too. You're probably not pregnant If you got it on 11/30 and then again on 1/1 thats a 32-day cycle... so you would likely have gotten it on or around 2/2. Which means by now you would definitely have had a positive test if you were pregnant. It was years since I've been on the pill but I remember my first period was like 2 1/2 weeks long and I freaked out but my doctor told me that was normal. And then after that they were just really spotty and irregular for a few months. That happens when there is a hormonal change. I would make an appt with your doctor anyway, but if you aren't getting a positive test then you are probably not preg.

Re: **Crashing**
I did. I went off BCP in October, got my period in early October then not until Dec 26 with help from meds. I have PCOS so I knew it would be an issue I never had regular cycles except when I was on BCP.
Have you ever been tested for PCOS before? Although there could be a number a reason's why you haven't gotten your period yet.

It depends on when you ovulated.

Re: **Crashing**
In the same boat as you but I stopped BC the month before. Got my last AF on BC on 11/3, then had one AF off BC on 12/6. Still waiting for AF, currently 6 weeks late. I had been on BC since I was 18, I am going to be 30 in April.
I got worried so I called by gyn and she went through my old records over the phone with me, she said my cycles at some points in my teens were 3-4 months long and had blood work done in 2000 which showed a slightly high testosterone level which could have been the cause. She sent me for bloodwork to check all my levels and for a complete pelvic sonogram. Going to see her Wednesday to find out whats going on with my body and hopefully what I can do to increase my chances of getting pregnant with such long cycles.
I asked my Mom about this too and she said when she was pregnant with me (her 2nd) she didn't even know she was pregnant for a while since she was used to waiting for her AF for months.
So hopefully your cycles will even out soon but it never hurts to call the dr. Good luck!!

Re: **Crashing**
Thanks for all of the advice ladies! I just got a pelvic done at the end of January bc I'm getting the IUD inserted. She said all was well done. I called the office and they said that if I don't get it soon, I'll need to come in for bloodwork. Thanks for you advice!
