sinus infection

arghhh.. the only thing that helped me was a Z pack! I wish I took it sooner but I kept holding off cause I didn't want to take anything.. I tried sudafed, the neilmed saline spray, claritan.. anything I was able to take! lol.

Re: sinus infection

My SIL swears by the netipot...I have never had one, but my brother even admits that the netipot helped.

Steam your face over a bowl of boiling water with 5-10 drops of eucalyptus oil, put towel over head to make a tent & breathe in steam for about 10 minutes. repeat 2-3 times a day. Hot showers help, drink lots of water with lemon. That helped me.

Re: sinus infection

The only thing that helped me, (my pcp wouldn't give me antibiotics) was to turn the shower on hot and steam up the bathroom. Then i would sit in there for awhile until I could breath again!!

Re: sinus infection

Steam helped temporarily. I wound up needing a zpack because I had intense facial pain and teeth pain. The zpac helped but it still took me almost a month for the stuffiness to go away.
Feel better!!
