affordable area rugs???
I really need to buy a new area rug for my Living Room. We need a 9x12 at least and need something not fancy b/c we have kids.
Any ideas where to look/shop without breaking the bank?? Thx.

I agree to look at Homegoods, maybe even a carpet place...like a remnant carpet or I just ordered from rugsdirect.com

affordable area rugs???
I loooove home goods for area rugs. I've bought several rugs from there. I've seen some gorgeous super thick rugs there. They have a mix off styles, florals, geometrics, just plain berbers, wool etc. I actually just bought a new one for my girls room this friday.
I'd try to check different locations because they have different patterns at different places. Home depot has a lot of area rugs too. They offer several different sizes in each pattern. They are not as nice a quality as home goods but it's stock rugs vs. store clearance. Price wise you can get a higher quality rug at home goods for equal or better prices but it's all clearance stock so you have to get it when you see it or it could be gone for good.

I just went to Homegoods for rugs, and didn't see anything that wasn't a wacked out pattern. Lowes has some nice Allen & Roth ones. I've had one for about 6 years and it has held up nicely.

We've used rugsusa.com 3 or 4 times and have been satisfied by product, price and delivery time.
They also have a warehouse store on Jericho Tpke. in Mineola.

overstock has great customer service and if I wasn't happy with the rug they always took it back no problem.
