Is 34w5d too late for a shower?

My mom let my shower date slip well sort of, she said Sunday the 9th of March, so at the very least I know it’s that weekend. Anyway, I will be 34w5d, how uncomfortable will I be? Will we have enough time to get things organized/washed?

How you feel depends. I am just about 34 weeks and I am getting tired and swollen but I could sit through a party however, I am getting more uncomfortable lately. But that's me, you might feel great.

And you will be so excited to get all of your gear that right away you'll be putting things together and washing everything. It doesn't take as long as you think so you'll have time.

When I was pregnant with my DD I think I had my shower around 33 weeks.

I had my shower mid may and my due date was late June (I delivered right on time)
It was plenty of time.
And I wasn't uncomfy at all.
But again, the uncomfy thing is different for everyone.

i had my shower at 35w1d and i was fine - i say go for it!

i had a problem finding shoes to wear that day bc my feet were swollen, but aside from that it was great! i was up and chatting and very comfortable the entire time.

I'm having mine at 34 weeks...I think you should be fine!

Im having my shower March 3rd and I will be 33 weeks! I thought it was too late personally for me cause I know I will be huge and uncomfortable by then but that was the date they chose so it is what it is!

I think that is fine, you'll be fine. If you are tired, just have people wait on you, you're the guest on honor anyway.

I was 35 1/2 weeks at my shower and was fine! Wear comfy shoes!

I had mine at 28 weeks and I ended up in the hosptial so you just really never know what could happen.

And at this point I don't thin you have a choice since its just over a month away....my guess is its all planned and booked.

I had mine at 32 weeks, my feet were swelling so I took my shoes off but that was about it (my mistake for trying to wear heels)

This is pretty much when mine is planned as well. I am due May 29th and my sower is April 13th, my friend is due May 22 and her shower is April 6, so I'm guess this is normal! I'm sure we will all be fine!!!

I feel like I was around 30-32 weeks when my shower was. I was not uncomfortable at all. Then again, I was due a few days ago and I'm still not uncomfortable! I think you'll have plenty of time, but I would prefer an earlier shower over a later one.

It could really go either way but honestly you'll probably be fine. You'll be sitting most of the time and although opening gifts can be tiring if you have a close friend/realtive sit up there with you in case you need some help for the bigger stuff you'll have no issues. My sister and mom were handing me gifts and my cousin and brother's GF were up there in case I needed help.

I had mine last Sat. I was 34 weeks 4 days.
A little late but I sat the whole time so I was ok. MY 1st shower I was more like 30 weeks I did feel MUCH better!

I just had my shower last Sunday at 35 weeks. you should be fine.

Crashing. I had my shower at 35 weeks. I was uncomfy mainly because of the weather its was July. I still had a great time. I think 34 weeks will be fine.

I just had one last week when I was 35w 2 d with TWINS...so I think you will be ok
