Best OBX town for families?
Whats the best all around area of OBX for families? Getting ltos of mixed reviews. Were originallysold on Duck/Southern shores/corolla , but now seeing some good places for rent on hatteras and wondering can we really go wrong anywhere? TIA!

Corolla hands down!!!! Been going for the past 5 years.

ive heard good things about Corolla.
As far as Hatteras Island.... AVon is a probably the best town there with kids. My parents have a vacation house in Avon, so i'm really familiar with it, if you have any questions about the area

I LOVE Duck! I think the location on the island is great because it is convenient to everything; super markets, restaurants, shopping, urgent care etc. plus it has none of the cheesy, drunk, younger partyers.

We grew up going to our Summer house in Duck, closer to Corolla than Southern Shores though. Like the pp said, Duck has it all. I would say though when we got older, we always went out in Nag's Head, restaurants, surf shops, things like that. Either way, you'll have a blast!
