Best beach fro kids in Town Of Huntington?
We live near Crab Meadow and we also go to Centerport beach a lot. What is another great beach for little ones?

I always found crab meadow to be the best b/c of the playground.

has anyone been to hobart/Sand city, lately? I was wondering how that was for kids.
(I prefer a beach without a playground)

West Neck....
Facing the water if you go all the way to the left where the inlet is...
Perfect for hunting little sea creatures...
When the tide is going out it's perfect for riding on little tubes and boogey boards down the inlet....

we went today and there is a playground there although it's on the inlet side so you could go over to the other side and not have it be a distraction for the kids. it was pretty nice there-i hadn't been there in the longest time. we usually go to crab meadow...but this was a nice change.

We always go to Goldstar. It's small, quiet and very manageable with small children.

we go to centerport - just b/c it's so close and pretty empty, but crab meadow is really much nicer.
What i like about centerport, is that I park my butt on my chair under my umbrella and the kids can do what they want, b/c they are always in eyesight. and I'm not worried about any waves.
