What to wear?
We have been invited to a gallery opening / charity event on Friday night. Sounds like its going to be business casual. My question is can I get away with black jeans? I don't really have nice dress pants that fit me as I've lost some weight & I really don't want to buy something new. I was thinking of wearing a nice top, black jeans & black boots. Would this work?

Mmmmmmmmm that's pushing it a little for me. No black skinny pants? Or maybe a sweater dress and tights?

the last charity event i went to most ppl were dressed up. I feel a guy could get away with jeans and a sportscoat, but no a girl. you can, its not like they will kick you out or anything. Just get thick black tights and wear a dress you already have.
