When did you retire your exersaucer?

DD is 10 months now. She still goes in it, but not really willingly and not as often. Just wondering when everyone stopped using it.

Re: When did you retire your exersaucer?

Once my kids could crawl(6 months) they hated being in it. 6-7 months and they would pull up and play on it. By the time they walked(8-9 months) they never touched it anymore so I put it in the garage.

When did you retire your exersaucer?

DS started in it at 4-5 months and was done with it by 9 months. Once he started walking he would scream if we put him in it since he wanted to move around.

We just put it away and DS is 9m. He'd rather crawl around.

Re: When did you retire your exersaucer?

DD2 is 8.5 months and basically it's a dust collector now that she's crawling. Correction...it's a place for her older sister to put her baby dolls. Chat Icon

We will probably put it away this weekend but I love having a place to put her on the rare occassion I have to run downstairs and leave them both alone. Chat Icon

We still use it all the time at 9 months. DD doesn't crawl, cruise, or walk yet so she's very happy to be in there. I'm sure I'll enjoy having a place to contain her once she is on the move.

When did you retire your exersaucer?

DD is almost 9 months, and she still likes it. I figure I'll retire it once she reaches the weight limit.

I don't have an exersaucer but, I'm getting ready to retire the Jumperoo.

One thing though a friend of mine does - her son is 14 mos - is use the Exersaucer to contain him while she gets ready in the morning....

8-9 months. He lost interest in it once he could crawl around. I recently sold it.

Once my DD started using the walker, I couldn't get her to go into it at all. Once she started crawling, she wanted no part of the walker either.

Re: When did you retire your exersaucer?

i think you should use it as long as they will take it..it is nice to put them down somewhere where they will be safe while you need to get things done! I think ours was put away around 9-10 mo but she never really liked it! I wish I got more use out of it!

Re: When did you retire your exersaucer?

We got rid of it when we decorated for Xmas...DD was 10 months old at the time and would scream as soon as you put her in it. Was too into crawling and pulling to stand on everything.
