car mirror
is anyone planning on using a car mirror like this with the baby?
I mentioned using it when i went for my carseat inspection and got yelled at - was told how unsafe they are and how they can hurt the baby.
i always thought they were good to have bc you can then see the baby in your rearview mirror while driving if necessary and also most babies like mirrors so it will keep them quiet in the car. ill be driving the baby alone to daycare everyday and dont love the idea of not knowing what is going on...but obvi want to do what is safest for the baby.
i was also told i need a cargo cover for my trunk (i have an suv) so that if i get rear ended nothing goes flying and hits the baby...so i spent $130 on one of those today

I don't use them bc of the danger in an accident. Honestly, never wished I had one either. If I needed to check on the baby, I pulled over and checked on them.

I plan on using one.... i can't really understand why they are so dangerous. People have been using them for years. I think the world like to make us paranoid over every little thing.

They are dangerous because they can be a projectile in ab accident. I have one that clips to the teather so I feel more comfortable using it.

Mine too. they clip to the headrest. Like under it so its not going anywhere. I have them. They are good because I can see if their heads are upright, crying because theis hat covered their eyes, etc.

I use One. Anything in your car can become a projectile. All that spare change in the cup holder projectile. That can of soda you are drinking. That too is a projectile.
Do what you feel is right not what everyone else says is 100%
