Re: Nail salon

I never did. I had heard massages were a big no-no. I know my pedicure chair shakes me like crazy so I passed it up

Really? I've only heard this during the first trimester. I see pregnant people in the pedicure chair nearly every time i go. I was hoping to get one on myself soon!

Re: Nail salon

Yes, I did all throughout my pregnancy. I just didn't do the massage option when it feels like someone is punching your back! Chat Icon

I did at 38 weeks and started to feel cruddy. I should have gotten up and moved around but I didn't want to be rude so I sat through the end of my pedicure. By the end, I couldn't see my toes and felt awful. I went straight to my ob and my blood pressure was through the roof (i'd never had an issue before).

I went again at 41w5d and was fine but I left the massage option off that time. I think it's fine to use it, just listen to your body...which you should always do anyway! Enjoy
